medical updates

mom says she's feeling pretty good, aside from the same discomforts she would be having even if she were at home. they should have put up her new bag by now, after removing yesterday's and hanging some anti-nausea stuff. dad got to stay with her, so that's really cool.

i'm negative for group B strep, 75% effaced, and "maybe 2cm" dilated. she had trouble measuring because the baby's head is SO LOW. i mean, seriously low. she said it is unlikely that we'll make it all the way to the 23rd.
my sister won't be here until the 20th, so she basically said, for the love of God, LIE DOWN. and no spicy food. but that leftover chili wasn't very spicy. i didn't even use any jalapenos this time. i just can't guarantee that i won't be eating silly amounts of fresh salsa anytime soon...
